Chapter Two – revisited

I have just found some images that I did a few months ago which I did not upload.  These were photos from my spiral design source imported into Photoshop and then twirl or twist used on them.  I think they are quite effective and possibly useful for my resolved sample.

I have now brushed white acrylic paint on the ridges of the corrugated cardboard.  I diluted it to start with but the water was absorbed into the paper and result was too pale.  The white now helps to highlight the ridges and make the samples more individual.

Chapter Eight
For chapter eight I had to create a bead sampler using a variety of beads & sequins in a variety of styles.  I also had to create some bead edging.  I worked the main sampler on a square wooden frame and after completion I mounted it along with the edging sampler on a canvas stretch frame.
